On a sunlit morning in a vibrant, green forest, a cheerful group of frogs leaped joyfully through the tall grass. Their shiny green bodies sparkled under the warm sun, and their happy croaks filled the air as they hopped over smooth stones and bounced off soft, mossy logs. They were having the best day ever!
But suddenly, with a loud CRASH, two frogs named Benny and Lila accidentally tumbled into a deep, dark pit! THUMP! THUMP! The other frogs rushed to the edge, wide-eyed with worry. Benny and Lila looked small and scared at the bottom. “Jump! Jump!” the frogs called, their voices echoing like little bells.
Determined, Benny and Lila took a deep breath and jumped with all their might. They pushed off the sandy floor, stretching their legs high, but fell back down with a heavy THUD. “Try again!” shouted one of the frogs, his voice trembling with concern. Again and again, they leaped, but each time they landed back with a loud THUD. The frogs above began to murmur, frowns on their faces. “It’s too deep,” sighed one. “They can’t make it,” said another sadly.
Every discouraging word weighed heavily on Lila’s heart. She sat down, feeling hopeless, while Benny listened to the doubts but refused to let them sink in. He took a deep breath and leaped again, feeling something magical bubbling inside him. Looking around, he spotted tiny footholds made of roots and stones, hidden like little treasures in the dirt. With each jump, he climbed a bit higher, imagining the frogs above cheering him on.
With one final, mighty leap, Benny reached the edge and scrambled up! Gasping, he turned to see the others staring at him in astonishment. “Didn’t you hear us?” one frog finally stammered. Benny shook his head, pointing to his ears. He hadn’t heard the words of doubt at all! Instead, he had believed in their unspoken encouragement, finding the strength to rise above.
As the frogs welcomed him back to solid ground, they realized something important: words can be powerful. With a sprinkle of belief and encouragement, anything is possible!
