Once upon a time, in a sparkling kingdom beneath a tall, green mountain, there was a young Lord who ruled with a crown made of shimmering gems. He was clever and ambitious, but he believed that anyone over seventy years old was old and useless. This made him very unkind, and he commanded that all the elders from the villages be taken up the mountain and left there. The villagers felt sad and helpless, but one brave young farmer named Yasuo decided to stand up for what was right.
When Yasuo was told to take his beloved mother, with her kind eyes and warm hugs, to the mountain, his heart felt heavy like a stone. Instead of following the cruel order, Yasuo carried her back home and hidden her beneath the floorboards, sneaking her delicious rice and sweet treats every night. Days turned into weeks, and Yasuo worried about the secret he kept, feeling like a bird trapped in a cage.
One stormy night, as thunder rumbled like a giant’s growl, a messenger burst into Yasuo’s home, carrying a scroll filled with terrible news! The Lord faced three daunting challenges from a rival warlord, and if he couldn’t solve them, darkness and war would swallow the kingdom! The Lord's advisors scratched their heads and paced anxiously, but no one could find the answers.
With a heart full of hope, Yasuo rushed to his mother and whispered the challenges to her. With sparkling eyes, she shared clever solutions that danced like fireflies in the night. Yasuo ran back to the castle, breathless and excited, and told the Lord about his mother’s wisdom. To everyone’s amazement, each challenge was solved with a sprinkle of magic!
The Lord was astonished and wanted to know who had taught Yasuo such incredible answers. Yasuo, filled with courage, revealed the secret of his mother hidden beneath the floorboards. Instead of punishment, the Lord bowed deeply, realizing he had been foolish.
From that day forward, the kingdom celebrated their elders, honoring their stories and wisdom at every feast, just like the roots of a great tree that give life to the forest around them.
