In a sparkling pond filled with swaying pink lotus flowers, two grand fish named Sahasrabuddhi and Satabuddhi swam proudly. Sahasrabuddhi shimmered like a thousand jewels, known for his clever tricks, while his best buddy Satabuddhi dazzled with a hundred cunning escapes. They were the kings of the pond, gliding through the water and basking in the sun.
But there was also Ekabuddhi, a tiny frog who was different. He had just one trick—swimming far away from danger! One warm evening, as the sun dipped low and painted the sky in brilliant oranges and purples, two fishermen strolled by the pond with sneaky smiles. "Look at all those fish!" one whispered with a sparkle in his eye. "Tomorrow, we’ll catch them all!"
Ekabuddhi’s heart raced like a little drum. He hopped quickly to his friends, his voice quivering. "We must leave right now! Danger is coming!" Sahasrabuddhi laughed, swirling through the water. "Oh, little frog! I have a thousand tricks! I can escape those nets easily!" Satabuddhi puffed out his chest. "And I have a hundred ways to dodge danger! This pond is our home!"
But Ekabuddhi looked at them with wide eyes. "I only have one trick—swimming away from trouble. I’m using it tonight!" As the moon rose high, casting a silver glow, Ekabuddhi gathered his family. "Follow me!" he croaked, leading them to a secret path hidden among the reeds. They slipped away quietly, leaving the shimmering pond behind.
The next morning, the fishermen arrived with nets that sparkled like the stars. They were excited. "Time to catch some fish!" one shouted, tossing his net into the water. Sahasrabuddhi and Satabuddhi tried their tricks, twisting and turning, but the nets held tight. Their laughter echoed, but soon faded, and with a splash, they realized they were caught!
Meanwhile, Ekabuddhi peeked from a new pond with a big smile, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. He knew he had made the wise choice to leave. The sun shone brightly over the pond, and as he watched the fishermen far away, he felt proud that sometimes, just one good decision can keep you safe when danger comes knocking.
