In a lively forest bursting with colorful flowers and shimmering streams, there lived a cheerful tiger cub named Tigo. Every morning, he practiced his big, booming roar. “ROAR!” he bellowed, making the leaves tremble and sending the birds fluttering into the sky. Tigo felt like the king of the forest, proud of his mighty sound.
But as days went by, Tigo noticed something strange. Whenever he approached the other animals, they vanished like magic! Frogs leaped away, fish splashed to the other side of the river, and the birds went silent. Tigo, now the mightiest animal around, felt a heavy sadness in his heart. Where had all his friends gone?
One sunny afternoon, Tigo met a wise old tortoise named Tully. The tortoise was slowly crossing a sunlit patch of grass, moving gracefully. Curious, Tigo growled softly, but poor Tully pulled his head into his shell, trembling. “Why do you hide?” Tigo asked, feeling lonely.
“Being alone is even more tiring,” Tully whispered, peeking out. Tigo felt a knot in his heart. “Why does everyone run from me?” he asked.
“Because they only hear your roar,” Tully explained gently. “It sounds scary. What do you really want?”
“I just want to drink from the river without scaring everyone away,” Tigo replied.
“Then you must learn to be gentle,” Tully advised wisely, and so began Tigo’s adventure.
Days turned into weeks, and Tigo learned to walk softly, letting the whispers of the forest fill the air instead of his mighty roar. One bright morning, he approached the river, heart pounding with hope. To his surprise, he saw a few curious rabbits peeking from a bush. Instead of roaring, Tigo smiled and sat quietly, watching the sun sparkle on the water.
Slowly, the forest transformed! The animals began to see that Tigo was no longer just a loud roar; he was a kind friend. Some kept their distance, but others gathered near the river, sharing stories and laughter. The lonely river now echoed with the sounds of joy, and Tigo discovered that his true strength came from the warmth in his heart.
