Once upon a time, on a sparkling golden beach, two tiny seabirds called Tittibhas were eagerly preparing to welcome their little ones. They built a cozy nest right in the soft sand, where the warm sun kissed their fluffy feathers. The female Tittibha, with her soft, white wings, fluttered nervously. "Oh, dear husband," she chirped, her eyes glimmering with worry. "We must move our nest to higher ground! When the tide comes in, the waves will sweep everything away!"
But the brave male Tittibha puffed out his chest and declared, "The Sea would NOT dare to touch my precious eggs!" Little did he know that the Sea, a mighty and mischievous giant, was listening from beneath the shimmering waves. "Dare, you say?" chuckled the Sea, swirling with a playful glimmer. Ignoring his wife’s fears, the female laid her precious eggs, and off they flew to find food.
Suddenly, WHOOSH! A gigantic wave crashed onto the beach, sweeping the nest away! When the Tittibhas returned, their hearts sank. The nest was empty, and their precious eggs were gone! The female bird wept, while the male bird’s eyes flashed with determination. "I will dry up this Sea!" he shouted, flapping his tiny wings.
Desperate to help, he called for friends, and soon, swans, cranes, and pelicans gathered around. "We cannot drain the ocean alone," said the wise crane. "Let’s seek Garuda, the King of Birds!"
So they soared high in the sky and found Garuda, his shadow dark and mighty. When he heard their tale, his golden eyes sparkled with strength. Just then, a messenger flew in from Lord Vishnu, the protector of all.
Garuda paused and spoke to the Sea, "Return the eggs!" With a powerful presence, Lord Vishnu appeared on the shore. The Sea trembled and, with a splash of sincerity, returned the tiny eggs.
Reunited, the little family chirped joyfully, and the male Tittibha, now wiser, helped to rebuild their nest on higher ground, safe from the tides. Together, they learned that even the tiniest creatures can achieve great things when they ask for help from friends.
