In the heart of a bright, shimmering desert, a beautiful red rose bloomed every spring. Her petals were soft as velvet, and she smelled like sweet candy. She stood tall and proud, showing off her stunning beauty to everyone. But right next to her, a prickly cactus grew. His round, bumpy body was covered with sharp thorns that poked in every direction. “Oh, why do you have to be so close to me?” the rose complained each morning, wrinkling her petals in disgust. “You look so dreadful!
