Once upon a time, in a vibrant forest filled with sparkling streams and whispering trees, there lived a curious Raven named Rolo. With feathers as dark as the midnight sky, Rolo had a heart full of dreams. Every morning, he would perch on his favorite branch, gazing longingly at the shimmering lake where a beautiful Swan named Selma glided gracefully across the water. Her feathers were white as fluffy clouds, shining like glittering stars in the sunlight. Rolo couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy. "Why can't I be white like her?" he sighed, his heart feeling heavy.
One sunny day, Rolo hatched a daring plan. "If I swim like Selma and eat the tasty weeds she loves, maybe I can turn into a swan!" With excitement buzzing in his wings, he soared down to the lake's edge. Rolo splashed into the cool water, paddling and diving with all his might, but no matter how much he tried, his feathers remained dark and shiny.
Days turned into a struggle; the cold water made him shiver, and the slimy weeds made his tummy grumble. He felt weaker and more miserable, yet he couldn’t stop thinking about changing into a swan. It wasn't until one sunny morning, with his energy almost gone, that Selma glided by. Concern filled her gentle eyes as she asked, "Rolo, why do you look so tired?"
With a heavy heart, Rolo shared his dream. "I want to be white like you!" Selma shook her head softly, her wings fluttering like magic. "Oh, dear Rolo, you are special just as you are. You don’t need to change to be beautiful!"
Rolo looked into the water again, and to his astonishment, he saw the sunlight dancing on his black feathers, turning them into shades of blue and silver, just like the twinkling night sky! His heart leaped with joy!
With newfound pride, Rolo soared back to his forest, embracing his true self. He was a magnificent raven, and he felt lighter than ever, ready to share his unique beauty with the world around him.
