In the sparkling palace of Emperor Akbar, there lived a dazzling parrot named Pippin. With feathers that shimmered like a rainbow and a beak that glinted like gold, Pippin was adored by everyone! His songs danced through the air, making even the grumpiest guards giggle like children. The Emperor cherished Pippin more than his finest treasures.
One fateful morning, a young servant discovered Pippin sitting silently, his vibrant feathers still as a painted picture. Panic gripped the servant’s heart like a wild tiger ready to pounce. “Oh no!” he gasped. “If I tell the Emperor Pippin is gone, I’ll be banished forever!” Frantically, he rushed to his clever friend Birbal, falling at his feet. “Help me, Birbal! I’m in big trouble!”
Birbal, wise and calm, smiled and said, “Don’t worry. Just return to your duties and let me take care of this.” With a steady stride, he entered the grand court and approached the Emperor. “Your Majesty, I need to speak about your beloved Pippin…”
Akbar leaned forward eagerly, his eyes wide like saucers. “What about my dear parrot?”
Birbal took a gentle breath. “Well, Your Majesty, it seems Pippin is very still. He isn’t eating, drinking, or moving…” The Emperor’s face turned pale, his heart racing like a galloping horse.
“Birbal, are you saying—” Akbar started, but Birbal interrupted with a twinkle in his eye, “I haven’t said a thing, Your Majesty. You seem to be imagining things.”
The Emperor’s mind whirled like a whirlwind. He dashed to Pippin’s perch, finding the parrot peacefully resting. Relief washed over him, and he returned to the court, his heart lighter. “Let it be known! Our dear servant is forgiven!”
With laughter echoing through the palace, everyone celebrated Pippin's return. Birbal’s clever words had saved the day, reminding everyone that sometimes, how you say something can change everything, bringing joy and light back to the kingdom.
