In a vibrant jungle filled with singing birds and dancing flowers, there lived a bright green parrot named Suchimukha. He was a curious little creature, his wings fluttering with excitement as he watched everything unfold from his cozy nest high in a grand old tree. One sunny morning, the sky suddenly darkened, and a fierce storm rolled in, shaking the jungle with thunder and lightning. The rain poured down like a waterfall, and the wind howled like a pack of wild wolves.
As the jungle animals scurried for shelter, a drenched monkey stumbled upon Suchimukha's tree. He clung to the trunk, shivering and wishing for a warm, dry place to rest. Suchimukha's heart fluttered with concern. “Oh dear Monkey!” he chirped cheerfully despite the storm. “Why don’t you use those big banana leaves over there to build a cozy shelter? It’s easy!”
The monkey glared at him, his patience fading. “I didn’t ask for your help!” he growled. Suchimukha continued, “But the rain is getting heavier! Just give it a try—”
“STOP TALKING!” the monkey shouted, his anger bubbling over. In a fit of rage, he scampered up the tree and, with swift magical hands, tore apart Suchimukha's beautiful nest! Twigs and leaves flew everywhere, floating down like confetti as the storm raged on.
Now both the parrot and the monkey found themselves sitting together in the pouring rain, wet and miserable. As they glanced at the mess, Suchimukha took a deep breath. “Maybe I should have waited until you asked,” he said softly.
The wild storm raged, but now there was a quiet understanding between them. From that day forward, Suchimukha learned the magic of listening instead of rushing to give advice. He focused on being a true friend, sharing laughter and stories instead of suggestions. And whenever rain fell from the sky, he kept a lookout, ready to lend a hand—but only when asked.
The jungle thrived with colorful creatures and delightful adventures, but it also became a place where friendship and understanding blossomed.
