In a magical land of twinkling stars and golden sands, there lived a beautiful princess named Layla, adored for her kindness and sparkling laughter. Three brave princes from far-off lands were captivated by her beauty: the tall prince from the snowy north, the clever prince from the wise east, and the generous prince from the warm west.
The Sultan of Samarkand, Layla’s father, wanted to find the perfect match for his daughter. So, he called the princes to the grand palace and announced, “You must embark on a quest! Bring back the most extraordinary treasure, and whoever returns with the greatest wonder shall win my daughter’s heart!”
Excited, the three princes set off on their daring adventures. The northern prince sailed across shimmering waters to a hidden island where he discovered a magnificent Magic Carpet, deep crimson and glittering with golden stars. “This will take me anywhere!” he cheered, folding it under his arm.
Meanwhile, the clever prince traveled far and wide, trading until he uncovered a wondrous Crystal Tube, a magical spyglass that could see anyone, anywhere in the world. “I can keep an eye on Princess Layla!” he grinned.
The generous prince scaled a towering mountain and found a glowing Silver Apple that sparkled with a gentle light. “This can heal anyone!” he whispered in awe, knowing its true value.
When they reunited to share their treasures, the eastern prince peered through his Crystal Tube and gasped, “Princess Layla is in danger!” Panic filled the air as he revealed her burning fever.
“Quick! Everyone on the carpet!” shouted the northern prince. With a WHOOSH, they soared through the sky like a shooting star, racing to the palace.
They burst into the princess's room, where the doctors looked worried. The western prince held the Silver Apple to her, and its sweet fragrance filled the room. Suddenly, Princess Layla blinked, her fever fading like the morning mist.
As they cheered, the princes pondered who truly deserved her love. “Who will win her heart?” they asked. The Sultan scratched his head, realizing that each treasure was special. Then Layla spoke, her voice as soft as a whisper, “The carpet can still fly, and the tube can still see, but only the apple was given without hope of return.”
In that moment, everyone understood the true meaning of love — it’s the gifts we share from our hearts that matter most, and sometimes, it’s the selfless act that shines the brightest.
