On a sunny afternoon in a meadow filled with flowers of every color, a magnificent Bull grazed quietly. His strong, shiny horns glimmered in the warm sunlight, and he moved with a gentle grace that made him seem like a friendly giant. The Bull was proud and strong, but he never boasted. Instead, he simply enjoyed the soft grass and the sunshine.
Zooming through the air, a tiny Gnat flitted from flower to flower, feeling tired after a long day of buzzing. As he flew past the Bull, he noticed the shiny horn and thought it looked like the perfect spot for a cozy rest. With a little wiggle of his wings, the Gnat landed softly on the Bull’s horn, feeling grand and important, just like a king on his throne!
But as the Gnat settled in, he realized the Bull didn’t even notice him. The giant continued munching, oblivious to the tiny creature perched above. Doubt crept into the Gnat’s mind. “What if he wouldn’t even notice if I flew away?” he wondered.
Determined to be polite, the Gnat buzzed close to the Bull’s ear. “Excuse me, Sir Bull! I’ve been resting on your horn, and I hope I haven’t bothered you! I’ll be off now!”
The Bull paused, blinking his big brown eyes in surprise. “What was that little sound?” he asked, looking around. When the Gnat repeated himself, the Bull chuckled softly, “My little friend, I didn’t even notice you arrived, and I surely won’t notice when you leave. You can stay as long as you like!”
Feeling humbled, the Gnat fluttered his wings and realized that even though he thought he was important, the Bull was far too big and busy to be bothered by him. With a gentle buzz, the Gnat flew away into the bright blue sky, his heart a little lighter. The meadow sparkled with life, reminding all the creatures that everyone has their own special place in the world, no matter how big or small they are.
