Once upon a time, in a shimmering palace under a blanket of twinkling stars, there lived a king named Yunan. Sadly, King Yunan was very sick. His fingers curled like gnarled branches, and his skin felt rough and sore. He stayed hidden away in his golden palace while the bright sun shone outside, feeling more like a prisoner than a great ruler.
One magical evening, a gentle sage named Budin arrived at the palace gate, wearing a deep green robe that waved like grass in the wind. His eyes sparkled with the secrets of the desert. "Great King," he spoke softly, "I know the magic of healing plants. If you give me ten days, I can help you feel better."
The king, filled with doubt but desperation, agreed, "Very well, but I have lost hope."
For the next ten days, Budin worked his enchanting magic. He mixed colorful potions from sparkling blue flowers and made cool ointments from night-blooming petals that glowed softly in the dark. Every morning, he whispered words of encouragement like a warm breeze, "Believe in healing, and healing will come." As the days passed, King Yunan began to feel different. His fingers started to straighten, and the painful sores began to fade away. By the tenth day, he stood tall and healthy, laughter bubbling from his lips like joyful music.
However, lurking in the shadows was the jealous Wazir, who wanted to keep his cousin's position as the king's physician. With a sly grin, he whispered to the king, "This sage is a spy! He only healed you to betray you!" The king, scared and angry, ordered Budin to be thrown into the dungeons.
With a heavy heart, Budin said, "Please, let me share one last wish." He handed the king an old book, its cover shimmering with golden symbols. Curious, the king opened it, but the pages were blank! As the Wazir also looked, both men suddenly felt dizzy and weak. The clever sage had tricked them—the pages were hidden with an invisible spell!
Budin walked away as the sun began to rise, leaving behind a lesson that echoed through the kingdom. The tale of the healer and the jealous Wazir spread, reminding all that kindness should be cherished and that jealousy can turn friends into foes. Peace returned to the land, and the hearts of the people glowed with gratitude, forever remembering the wise sage's magic.
