On a bright and sunny day, when fluffy clouds danced in the clear blue sky, a wise old guru and his five hundred cheerful followers wandered through a lush, green countryside. The air was sweet with the smell of blooming flowers, and the happy chirping of birds filled the air, making it an enchanting afternoon.
As they strolled along, they stumbled upon a sparkling pond, shimmering like a thousand tiny stars. Fish darted beneath the surface, their scales glinting in the sunlight. With a mischievous twinkle in his eye, the guru stepped closer and, in a flash, scooped up a handful of wriggling fish. “GULP!” he swallowed them whole, like a magician performing the greatest trick ever! The followers gasped in disbelief. If their beloved guru could do something so amazing, surely they could, too!
Without thinking, they rushed to the pond, arms waving in excitement. One by one, they scooped up fish, and with loud “GULP! GULP! GULP!” they swallowed them, giggling and laughing as they tried to imitate their guru. But he just smiled softly and continued on his way, leaving them lost in their playful frenzy.
Soon, they arrived at another pond, but this one was eerily empty! The water was still and quiet, with not a single fish in sight. Confused, the followers exchanged puzzled looks, whispering, “Where are the fish?” The guru stood by the empty pond and, with a gentle motion, pretended to pull fish from his mouth. With a flick of his wrist, he released them into the water — SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH! Fish swam free, sparkling like jewels, leaving the followers wide-eyed with wonder!
Excited, they tried to mimic him, pulling and tugging, their faces turning red from effort. But all they managed to catch were lifeless fish flopping at their feet. The guru turned to them, his eyes calm but serious. “Why can’t you do what I did?” he asked gently.
Feeling embarrassed, the followers looked down at the sad fish. They realized they had rushed to copy their guru, without understanding the magic behind his actions. With a newfound understanding, they gathered around the guru, eager to learn and discover, knowing that true growth comes from thoughtful learning and curiosity.
Together, they continued their journey, ready to explore the wonders of the world with open minds and joyful hearts.
