Inside, he was startled to find two tall men arguing over an open coffin. “He owes us money!” one shouted, shaking his fist. John’s heart sank as he looked at the lonely man in the coffin. No one was there to say goodbye.
Feeling a rush of sadness, John reached into his pocket, feeling the cold touch of his coins. With a deep breath, he placed them gently on the coffin. “Please, let him be buried with respect,” he whispered, stepping back into the warm sunlight, feeling surprisingly light-hearted despite his empty pockets.

The kingdom cheered, and soon John and the princess were married. But the next morning, the stranger returned, shimmering like sunlight on water. “I have something to share,” he said softly. “I am the ghost of the man you buried.” John gasped in surprise. “You gave everything you had for a stranger,” the ghost continued, smiling brightly. “And now I’ve shared my magic to fill your life with joy.”
With a gentle whoosh, the ghost vanished, leaving a glowing warmth in John’s heart. He ruled the kingdom wisely, never forgetting how a simple act of kindness can bring unexpected magic and happiness into our lives.
