Once upon a time, in a cozy little village filled with colorful flowers and chirping birds, there lived a gentle girl named Ella. Her eyes sparkled like twinkling stars, but her heart was heavy. Ella lived with her cruel stepmother and stepsisters, who made her scrub floors and clean ashes while they danced in beautiful gowns. They called her “Cinder-girl,” and poor Ella felt like a forgotten shadow.
One sunny morning, a joyful announcement fluttered through the village like a butterfly: the royal palace was throwing a magnificent ball! Ella's stepsisters squealed with excitement as they picked out their finest dresses, while Ella watched with longing, stuck in the kitchen with a broom. She sighed, wishing to join the fun, when suddenly, a warm, sparkling voice filled the air. “Dry your eyes, dear!” WHOOSH!
Ella turned around to see a tiny woman in a shimmering green coat, twirling a glowing wand. “I am your fairy godmother! You shall go to the ball!” With a flick of her wand, magic exploded around Ella. A pumpkin became a golden coach, and six little mice transformed into prancing white horses! Ella gasped as her grey rags turned into a stunning gown of shimmering silver, and delicate glass slippers appeared on her feet.
“Enjoy, but remember to be home before midnight!” warned her fairy godmother before vanishing in a flash of sparkles.
At the palace, everyone paused as Ella entered the ballroom. The prince, with bright eyes, couldn’t take his gaze away from her! They danced under dazzling chandeliers, twirling joyfully until… BONG! The clock struck midnight! Ella's heart raced. She dashed down the staircase, losing one glass slipper with a CLINK!
Back home, the magic faded, and she was left with only one slipper. Days passed, and the prince searched high and low for the girl who fit the tiny slipper. At last, he arrived at Ella’s house. Her stepsisters tried to squeeze their feet into it, but it wouldn’t budge! Then, taking a deep breath, Ella stepped forward. When she slipped her foot into the slipper, it fit perfectly!
She smiled and revealed the second slipper from her pocket. Magical sparkles swirled around her as the prince recognized her kind heart. He knew then that true beauty comes from being gentle and loving, shining brighter than any gown in the world.
