Finally, she arrived at the Snow Queen's palace, a breathtaking fortress of ice. Inside, she found Kai, alone and surrounded by bright frost. Gerda rushed to him, wrapping her arms around him tightly. Her warm tears fell onto his cold chest, and with each drop, the ice began to melt away.
