In a sunny valley where flowers giggled in the breeze, there lived a hardworking Farmer named Ben. Each morning, as the sun peeked over the hills, Ben would rise early to plow his field, plant his seeds, and dream of a wonderful harvest. Little did he know, a flock of sneaky Cranes was watching him from above, their eyes twinkling with mischief. “Look at all those tasty seeds!” one Crane squawked excitedly. “When he leaves, we’ll feast like kings!”
One day, after a long morning of work, Ben headed to his cozy cottage for a break. The moment he turned his back, the Cranes swooped down in a flurry of feathers, pecking and gobbling at the seeds. “Yum! These are the best!” they chirped, savoring their delicious banquet. But just as they were having the time of their lives, Ben peeked out the window and shouted, “Hey! Get away from my seeds!”
The Cranes fluttered into the air, surprised, but they quickly realized that Ben wasn’t throwing any stones — it was just noise! They returned to their feast, laughing at the farmer's loud antics. Day after day, the same dance played out, with Ben shouting but the Cranes munching on merrily.
Frustrated but determined, Ben scratched his head and thought, “I need to try something different!” That night, he filled his pocket with smooth stones and returned to the field with a glint of mischief in his eyes.
The next day, the Cranes returned, all ready to snack again, when suddenly, whoosh! A stone zoomed through the air like a shooting star! The Cranes gasped, wings flapping wildly as they scrambled into the sky, their hearts pounding.
From that day on, the Cranes steered clear of Farmer Ben’s field, remembering the day he turned his loud words into powerful actions. Farmer Ben tended his field in peace, while the Cranes learned a valuable lesson about respecting what belongs to others. The valley echoed with the joyful hum of buzzing bees and the sweet chirps of birds, as Farmer Ben’s dreams of a bountiful harvest began to blossom.
