In a dazzling palace where treasures twinkled like stars, there lived a mighty king. His most cherished treasure wasn’t gold or jewels; it was his magnificent falcon. With wings as grey as a stormy sky and eyes that sparkled like the brightest stars, the falcon was not just a bird—it was the king's faithful friend, soaring high in the sky on thrilling adventures.
One scorching Sunday, the king decided to go hunting. The sun shone brightly, and the warm desert sand felt cozy beneath his feet. But as the hours passed, no animals appeared. Just when worry crept into the king's heart, the falcon suddenly froze mid-air, its sharp eyes spotting something below. With a quick twist of its head, the falcon directed the king’s gaze toward a group of graceful deer resting in a shady grove. Excitedly, the king signaled his men, and they galloped forward!
Among the deer, a fast one darted away like a flash of lightning, and the king chased it deeper into the forest. Alone and feeling lost as the sun dipped below the horizon, the king's throat grew dry. Suddenly, he spotted a sparkling pool of water shining between the rocks. His heart raced with joy!
He quickly filled his cup, but just as he raised it to drink, WHAP! The falcon swooped down and knocked the cup from his hands! Confused and angry, the king tried again, but WHAP! The falcon struck again! Frustrated, he drew his sword and shouted, “Enough!”
But the clever falcon dodged the blade and looked up with pleading eyes. Following its gaze, the king gasped! Above the water, dangerous snakes hung from the branches, their fangs dripping poison into the pool below. It was a trap!
Shocked and trembling, the king sheathed his sword. The falcon landed softly on his wrist, and tears filled his eyes. “You saved my life!” he whispered, filled with gratitude. He carried his brave falcon home, promising to trust his loyal friend always.
From that day on, the king understood that sometimes those who love us may seem to act strangely, but they know how to protect us best.
