The sun dipped behind the tall, whispering trees, filling the land of Gaya with a golden glow. Vikram strolled through the cool evening air, feeling a curious tingle on his shoulder. A soft, whispery voice floated in his ear. “Listen closely, Vikram,” said Betaal, a playful spirit with wondrous tales. “Let me tell you about King Raghuvir and his two extraordinary brothers.”
Once upon a time, in a grand palace adorned with vibrant banners, King Raghuvir ruled with kindness and wisdom. He had two remarkable brothers. The elder, Anil, possessed a magical gift—he could peer into a person's eyes and uncover their true feelings, as if wearing enchanted glasses. The younger brother, Rohan, had an incredible ability too; he could touch and sniff anything to discover its hidden secrets. Together, they were a mighty team!
One day, an envious neighboring king sent a cheerful invitation for a grand feast. “This feels too happy,” thought Raghuvir, scratching his chin. To stay safe, he sent Anil and Rohan to investigate.
When the brothers reached the neighboring king’s palace, everything sparkled—the flowers bloomed, music danced through the air, and tables overflowed with delicious treats. Yet, Anil sensed something amiss. While the king beamed, his eyes flickered with mischievous shadows, sharp like hidden daggers.
In their guestroom, Anil's heart raced. The pillows were fluffier than usual, almost suspiciously so. “Something’s not right!” he whispered. Rohan, ever eager, leaped to check. “Let me see!” he said, as he tugged at a pillow. With a mighty RIIIP, he tore it open! Feathers exploded everywhere, revealing hidden, powdered poisonous seeds, ready to harm anyone who dared to sleep!
“King Raghuvir must not sleep here!” Anil shouted, his voice echoing like thunder. That night, the king rested on the firm floor, safe from the treacherous pillows while the brothers worked together to unveil the wicked scheme.
By morning, as sunlight streamed through the windows, the treacherous king's plan crumbled. The kingdom erupted in cheers, and King Raghuvir proudly praised his brothers. “Anil saw the danger with his wise eyes, and Rohan confirmed it with his brave touch!”
The brothers stood tall, filled with joy, knowing they had protected their kingdom from harm.
