The sun beamed down brightly as Timmy and his dad climbed the colorful mountains, where the air was fresh and filled with the sweet scent of pine trees. Timmy loved these adventures, but today his feet felt a little wobbly. As he leaped from one rock to another, his foot slipped on a shiny, wet stone, sending him tumbling down and scraping his knee on a jagged edge. "AAAHH!" he cried, his voice echoing through the valleys.
To Timmy's surprise, a booming voice answered back, "AAAHH!" His heart raced with excitement and a hint of fear. "Who said that?!" he shouted, eyes wide. Dad chuckled, his eyes twinkling like stars. "Just the mountain, buddy! Try talking to it!"
Taking a deep breath, Timmy cupped his hands around his mouth. "WHO ARE YOU?" he yelled. The mountain echoed, "WHO ARE YOU?" Timmy felt a flutter of nerves but glanced at his dad, who smiled brightly. "Say something nice!" his father encouraged.
Timmy thought hard, then shouted, "I ADMIRE YOU!" To his amazement, the mountain replied, "I ADMIRE YOU!" The words bounced around the valley, swirling like playful birds in the sky. Timmy's heart filled with joy. "You’re wonderful!" he called, and again the mountain echoed back, "YOU'RE WONDERFUL!"
Suddenly, the mountain went silent, and Timmy sat by his dad, puzzled. "Why does it do that?" he asked. Dad picked up a small stone, feeling its rough surface. "This mountain shows us something special. Just like echoes, our words and actions come back to us."
Timmy nodded slowly, gazing at the tall mountain, its peaks shimmering in the sunlight. Inspired, he cupped his hands again. "THANK YOU!" he shouted with all his heart. The mountain softly replied, "Thank you," like a gentle whisper wrapping around him like a warm hug. Timmy beamed at his dad, feeling happier than ever. He realized the mountain had shared a magical secret about kindness that would stay with him forever.
