Once upon a time in the shimmering sands of ancient India, a brave merchant set out with a dazzling caravan of five hundred colorful carts, each pulled by strong, sturdy bullocks. They traveled only at night, dancing beneath the twinkling stars, dreaming of reaching the other side of the vast, fiery desert.
One fateful evening, as the campfire crackled and cast playful shadows, their sleepy guide gobbled up his food and dozed off in the front cart. The tired bullocks, unaware of their path, wandered off, and when the sun peeked over the horizon, the caravan found itself right back where it started! Panic filled the air as frightened voices cried out, “Oh no! We’re trapped here forever!”
But the merchant, seeing the worry etched on everyone’s faces, felt a spark of courage ignite within him. “I can’t let them down!” he thought, and set off to explore the sandy surroundings. Suddenly, he spotted a brave little clump of green grass poking through the hot desert floor! “DIG HERE!” he shouted, excitement bubbling in his heart.
Everyone jumped into action, their hands digging through the scorching sand. They worked hard, but soon someone cried, “It’s just rock! We’ll never find water!” Yet the merchant refused to give up. He climbed into the hole, pressed his ear to the stone, and heard a gentle, magical whisper of water flowing below!
“Just one more try!” he called, and a brave boy stepped forward with a heavy hammer. With a mighty CRACK! CRASH! BOOM!, the rock split open, and a magnificent fountain of cool, sweet water burst forth, showering everyone in joy!
Cheers erupted as they danced around the sparkling spring, their hearts bursting with happiness. The merchant built a tall marker to guide future travelers to this precious oasis. With their thirst quenched and spirits high, the caravan crossed the desert safely, reminding everyone that hope and courage can create magic even in the toughest times.
