Paul became the greatest lumberjack ever!
But every hero needs a trusty sidekick, and Paul's friend was none other than Babe the Blue Ox. Born during the magical Winter of the Blue Snow, Babe was no ordinary calf—he was so big that the space between his eyes was as wide as forty-two axe handles! One chilly day, Paul found Babe shivering in a snowbank, wrapped him in a cozy blanket, and they became best friends.
Together, they went on grand adventures! Babe used his incredible strength to pull a crooked river straight, allowing the logging boats to glide smoothly. One day, while searching for a waterhole for Babe, Paul accidentally dug out the Great Lakes! Splash! Water flew everywhere!
But one fateful day, a fierce snowstorm swept in, howling like wild wolves and piling snow high. The trees creaked and the logging camp was in danger! Paul and Babe stood tall, determination shining in their eyes. “We can face this together!” Paul exclaimed.
